In my opinion, in the Sponsored section on my front page, I can find several scam games that advertise free Headless/Korblox, or copies of popular games (Adopt Me!, Brookhaven RP, etc.), and they may be frustrating for some users. These games are also created today, and they can have more dislikes than likes.
I recently woke up and saw this misleading game on the Roblox front page:
This is actually months coming now since I got my chaser codes off of Ebay on April 24th, 12 of them to be precise, in hopes of getting the [SUPER RARE VIRTUAL ITEMS] that roblox has advertised as a possibility on their page. Alot of them looked REALLY cool but couldn't be obtained through the avatar shop, so I opted to try and do the Chasers, in hopes of getting the ones advertised. However as I would soon find out, not only do you get Chasers that AREN'T advertised, but the vast majority of them are IMPOSSIBLE to obtain through current Roblox toys in stores, or rather, I speculate to be impossible based on what I got. The reason why I speculate its impossible is because although it isn't stated by Roblox or the wiki for the explicit date many chasers were simply no longer available, it seems that ALL chasers, not just the 'rare' ones, become unavailable as Roblox progresses into different toy series.
It became explicitly apparent to me when the items I got were:
Black Fox Necklace (Released April 9, 2021)
Golden Geometric Minotaur Hat (Released April 9, 2021)
Wild Safari Scarf (Probably Released April 9, 2021, not on wiki)
Gold Oiji Ninja Pauldrons (Released August 31, 2021)
Gold Cactus Cat (Released August 31, 2021)
Rainbow House Key (Released April 9, 2021)
Gold Battle Axepack of Might (Released August 31, 2021)
Not only was it not what was advertised, but as you can see, not only are all of these chaser codes, but you may have probably noticed that there are only 7, when I bought 12, and that's because many of the codes I redeemed turned out to be dupes. Nothing wrong with dupes at their core! Its expected when you do RNG related things like opening random codes, but when there are YEARS worth of Roblox chasers, and 12 codes all give me 2021 codes, many of which turn out to be the same item, it becomes apparent that at least to me that unless you find a store that is somehow selling toys that are years old, items like the Cerulean Catseye, Gold Dust Wings, etc, are completely and utterly impossible to get anymore unless you find an unredeemed chaser from 2017.
The system isn't even garbage either, I am pretty sure that's just how collectibles work, but when Roblox tells us, the consumer, that we have a chance of getting these items when we clearly don't is INCREDIBLY misleading. Who knows, maybe I was just scammed, for anyone else who's opened Chaser codes that you got from the store or online, what do you got to share? I feel like this is something that needs to be more known so there aren't more hopeful people like me out to get a specific item to chance, only to find out the odds were always 0 from the very beginning.
(Also a tag for talking explicitly about Roblox Chasers would be nice, I'm amazed there isn't one)
