Okay, so recently a lot of items have been turned Limited. A lot is an overstatement, but considering the fact that regular hats turning into them hasn't happened for almost a few years now, I think it's a very special occasion.
It's also sparked my interest in Limiteds again, which, I know some of you hate. The idea of spending money on ''virtual'' stuff. Bogus, right? But just hear me out on what I have to say. Trading is a great way to learn the stock market, and also a great way to make profit if you're smart and lucky enough to an extent. It's a market decided by people, and that depends on your intellectual capability and thinking. Not saying that trading is all 300 IQ, but to me, it's a fun side-thing you can do in ROBLOX that can make you a big buck and bring you satisfaction in return, as the profit you make directly correlates to Robux. Okay, let's get back to Limiteds.
Recently, Roblox has turned two classic hats into Limiteds: Sinister S from the Sinister Pumpkin series and Tentacles Junior, from the Tentacles Family series. This was super unexpected and made the trading community go crazy. I mean REALLY crazy. The items immediately became overpriced, but they gradually dropped down. This is our first clue to what makes a limited: Old items; nostalgic, classic ones.
Another item then went on sale as a limited, the Poisoned Horns of the Toxic Wasteland. This one, being higher value of course, with a higher rarity and it being in a series, the Fiery Horns series. This leads to the next clue: A precursor series. This series ultimately would all go Limited (except for bluesteel, RIP), and made it clear: Limiteds were coming back.
Third: 3 items went Limited, the ''Maker'' series, all generally obtained from attending the Bay Area Maker Faire. These items that went Limited were rare, and the highest value item in the set had around 200~ copies, making this quite a big Limited. It was from a series, it's a little bit of a classic item, and here's a new clue: It's related to ROBLOX events themselves, like fairs and in-person booths.
Fourth item to go Limited: Friday the 13th Top Hat. It seemed completely random, but it was quite funny: it went Limited on, you guessed it, Friday the 13th. So there's another one: It's relating to a current event in our world.
Lastly, the next item that went limited was the Happy Time Magic Flower Bowler. It's pretty average in terms of what made it Limited; its in a series, it's sort of classic (2013), but there's a key outliner here: it went Limited despite being on-sale, which no other Limited released recently has done.
So now, we have these 4 clues as to what can make a Limited:
It is an old item that is classic and nostalgic.
It belongs to a precursor series that has existed (possibly Limited)
It is from an old annual ROBLOX event, like a faire or booth, generally a ''promocode'' given by the event in-person.
It relates to a current world event happening possibly now
It doesn't have to be off-sale to become Limited
Now that's out of the way, you can half-hazardly predict what will become Limited, and try to make bank, if you really want to gamble the dice. My guesses for what will go limited are probably items from the Antlers series (specifically Otherworldly Antlers and Silverthorn), the Festive Valkyrie, and possibly much more. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. Thanks for reading, if you did.
TL;DR: Limiteds.
Mine has been fluctuating around 25k.
i really want it so i want to know if its possible for someone to trade me one or if its impossible to get it
