That’s because you didn’t publish the place itself. You can go on studio and then the game, then go to the drop-down menu and click “Publish Place”.
I haven’t used studio in a while and from what I remember, it was like that. The drop-down menu is in the top left corner.

Look around if you can’t identify the culprit. It might be because of your position glitching out the game.
Or it might be something else.
Social interaction and friends are NOT the same thing. You socially interact with people all the time, but does that mean you’re friends with everyone?
They’re saying that not everyone on your friends list is a friend, hence why they changed it. Most people I know have random individuals in their friends list they never talk to.
People are still going to call it friends. No one will ever use that name, the same way most people still call Communities “Groups”.
I actually have people friended who are more so game partners than actual friends themselves.
