Homestead Furniture Making Contest (z ang. Konkurs Wykonania Domowego Mebla) jest pierwszym wydarzeniem oraz konkursem , które miało miejsce na Roblox. Rozpoczęło się ono 17 stycznia 2007 roku, a zakończyło 3 dni później - 20 stycznia 2007 roku. Został on ogłoszony na blogu Robloxa[1]. Zwycięzcy zostali ogłoszeni na specjalnym wątku na nieistniejącym już forum.
Cel[]
Celem wydarzenia było stworzenie przez użytkowników mebli do wnętrza powstałego wtedy domu, który przypomina ten z odznaki Homestead. Prace miały być tworzone w Roblox Studio.
Udział[]
By wziąć udział w konkursie należało stworzyć własny model mebla w Roblox Studio, po stworzeniu takowego modelu należało go udostępnić, a link do niego podać w specjalnym wątku na forum Robloxa. Prócz linka w każdym poście należało dodać krótki opis modelu.
Kryteria oceniania[]
W wydarzeniu pod uwagę brano kreatywność, dbałość o szczegóły, kontrukcja, dbałość o skalę modelu. Podkreślane było tworzenie mebli do domu, a nie innego budynku. Dodatkowe punkty mógł zdobyć użytkownik, który jako pierwszy wyjaśnił dodatkowo jak stworzyć oraz opublikować własny model.

Zaoszczędziliście mi wiele czasu na robieniu tych modeli od podstaw więc myślę, że rozsądną rzeczą będzie dać wszystkim uczestnikom nagrody za modele, których faktycznie użyliśmy. |

Nagrodą dla zwycięzców była możliwość jednorazowego spersonalizowania swojego charakteru. Mogli oni zmienić kolor swoich części ciała, lub ustawić dla siebie grafikę na t-shircie.
