An animation package (or animation pack) is a bundle on the Marketplace that contains seven R15 animation assets: Run, Walk, Fall, Jump, Idle, Swim, and Climb. Animations are used to change any of an avatar's R15 animations. These animations are applied to the in-game character; however, the idle animation is also shown if the user has one equipped while using the R15 rig.
Animation packs were announced on January 19, 2017, by tarabyte on the R15 Avatar Animations blog. All initial animation packs were released in January 2017, with the Rthro Animation Package being released in September 2018, and finally the Bold Animation Pack being released in March 2024 (Currently Offsale).
Update: There is now a new Bold Animation Pack that is called the "Bold Animation Pack by e.l.f." that can be purchased for 200 Robux.

- The Robot Animation Pack, Oldschool Animation Pack, and Bold Animation Pack are outliers from the rest of the animation packs, having Animation Pack at the end of its name rather than Animation Package.
- The Astronaut Animation Package is the only animation pack with identical walking and running animations.
