Auto Rap Battles is a Roblox game created by Auto Rap Battles Community. The point of the game is for the player to rap against their opponent and at the end the spectators will vote for the better rapper and if the player wins they will get a point. With each point they have they can different microphones and different hats. The game was inspired by the 2014 "Ro-Rap" game by marshmeIlo that closed in 2015. In October 2019, the game was suddenly shutdown and replaced with Roblox Rap Battles. It came back in April 2020.
In July 2024, it was updated with a new look:
- The theme now sets in a subway train station.
- Strazdine provides the in-game music after the old music was muted due to Roblox muting the old music for copyright reasons.
- A new announcer, VuxVux, replaces the old announcer that was used in 2016-2024 as the announcer has newer voicelines such as if the player forfeited the battle or if the round will start.
- The tiebreaker is no longer included. One the vote poll shows a draw game, the game will instantly end.
- The monkey whacker game is removed
- You can customize your pad color and rap name
- A store "Launcher Lair" is added
- You can shoot tomatoes in this game (A tomato shop can be used to reload tomatoes but it will cost rap bars)
Owners[]
The game was first owned by ActiveMiner as he owned the group it was created by, but then passed on to Games_Page. Once Games_Page was terminated, it was given to Decabox. When he got banned it was being thrown around with random creators. Most of its creators were bots, but then was finally claimed by VuxVux but he does NOT have permission to use the game. It was turned around again, once VuxVux let ActiveMiner script the game, and add new updates to it. ActiveMiner ended working with VuxVux, so the game has now stayed the same since.
The game was then sold on v3rmillion, then leaked as a Roblox uncopylocked game, causing over 100 fake versions of the game to gain popularity. The main one being "RAP BATTLES", that gained more popularity than Roblox Rap Battles, but due to it at one point being closed, it never got more players than Ro-Rap or Auto Rap Battles.
The Auto Rap Battles group is owned by ARB_Dev, and it is unclear if the game will receive future updates.
