Account deletion (also referred to as account termination) is a type of ban where the player's account is permanently disabled and may not be reopened automatically. After 30 days have passed, the terminated account is usually unrecoverable. This should not be confused with fully deleted accounts, which is only issued by administrators for specific purposes, not by moderation.

Users who attempt to view a terminated player's profile will receive an Error 404. Serious or repeated violations of the Terms of Service and/or violation of federal law will immediately result in account deletion. Friends of a terminated user will see a darker square that is not clickable on their Friends page as opposed to the lighter squares, and these users can be unfriended without going to their profiles.

If a player has their account deleted, they are allowed to create a new account. Players are discouraged from creating new accounts to continue violating the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, as they could get poison banned.

Although moderators are hesitant to issue deletions, if the account is relatively new or has no value, it is considered a throwaway account and, if it violates the rules, moderators may be hastier to delete it.

An account deletion will also be issued if the owner uses the Support Form to submit a 'right to be forgotten' request, which deletes all their accounts.

A terminated account's username used to be changed to [ Content Deleted <ID>]. This no longer happens with recently terminated accounts.

If Roblox threatens the terminated account with legal action if the ban is circumvented, appealing will be blocked instantly.
