Description	The holidays are on the horizon, which means it’s time to bundle up in layers and layers of new items! From Friday, November 23, 4:00 AM PST until Tuesday, November 27, 2:00 PM PST, we’ll be featuring a dazzling array of items in the Catalog, such as hats, faces, wings, bundles, and more! As always, some items will be new, some will be returning favorites, and some will even be made rarer by going Limited! Be sure to keep a close eye on the Catalog all week long. With 80+ items on display, there’s plenty of new looks to choose from. A variety of old and new items will be available, but some might only have a limited quantity or be available for a limited time. Black Friday 2018 was a Black Friday sale on Roblox that started on November 23, 2018, and ended on November 27, 2018. An abundance of hats, hairs, other accessories and bundles in the catalog came out along with the majority of the items having their current Robux prices to be discounted for a specific amount throughout the sale while several items were substantially or individually released in so-called 'waves' each subsequent hour. Not many off-sale items went limited; instead, they were brought back on sale, while a lot of limited unique items were released. To sum up, 7 limited unique items came out, 18 timed items were featured, 31 items were discounted, 7 bundles were released, and only one item went limited. An average of 20 items came out each day.

Sale timeline

Day 1 (Black Friday)

Wave 1

The sale kicks off with the release of two cheap accessories:

• Split Equinox - 10 Robux (4-hour timer)
• Baseball Ushanka - 10 Robux (4-hour timer)

Wave 2

Two cheap hairs were released:

• Crimson Dragon Empress Hair- 2 Robux (3-hour timer)
• Midnight Snowflake Hair - 2 Robux (3-hour timer)

Wave 3

A new limited unique Noob Attack was released:

• Noob Attack: Laser Scythe Scuffle - Formerly 75 Robux (75,000 stock)

Wave 4

Two new accessories and a face were released:

• Earth Dragon Tail - 250 Robux
• 8-Bit Heart Face - 100 Robux (24-hour timer)
• Pirate Top Hat - 300 Robux

Wave 5

A waist accessory was released:

• Phoenix Tail - 1,000 Robux

Wave 6

A new hair accessory was released:

• Burning Hair for Firey People - 150 Robux

Wave 7

Two pairs of wings went on sale, and a hair accessory was brought back:

• Majestic Ice Wings - 750 Robux → 450 Robux (40% off)
• Wings of Fire - 750 Robux → 450 Robux (40% off)
• Frozen Hair for Cold People - 150 Robux

Wave 8

Three Rthro bundles were released:

• Kon the Crusher - 500 Robux
• Mr. Skeleton - 300 Robux
• Icicle Fairy - 250 Robux

A hair accessory was brought back on sale and three hats were discounted:

• Midnight Motor Magnifique - 500 Robux
• Glorious Unicorn Headpiece - 150 Robux → 50 Robux (66% off)
• Adurite Bucket - 2,000 Robux → 1,000 Robux (50% off)
• Pirate Captain's Hat - 2,000 Robux → 1,000 Robux (50% off)

Three existing Rthro bundles were discounted:

• Wyldfire Fairy - 700 Robux → 200 Robux (64% off)
• Barb the Barbarian - 800 Robux → 400 Robux (50% off)
• Pumpkin Reaper - 250 Robux → 125 Robux (50% off)

Wave 9

Three animation packs were discounted:

• Ninja Animation Pack - 750 Robux → 300 Robux (60% off)
• Pirate Animation Pack  - 750 Robux → 300 Robux (60% off)
• Levitation Animation Pack - 1,000 Robux → 500 Robux (50% off)

Day 2

Wave 1

Two new Rthro bundles were released:

• InsectZoids: Dr. Mantis - 250 Robux
• InsectZoids: Fire Ant Champion - 250 Robux

Wave 2

Two Rthro bundles were discounted.

• Cats...IN SPACE: Sergeant Tabbs - 600 Robux → 250 Robux (60% off)
• Bounty Hunter L-23 - 800 Robux → 400 Robux (50% off)

Two highly-demanded classics were brought back onsale along with three BIG accessories:

• BiggerHead - 1,000 Robux (5-hour timer)

Wave 4

A pair of Sparkle Time-textured Shutter Shades were released:

Wave 5

Two new hats were released:

• Gold Cat Warrior Helmet - 250 Robux

A classic hat and bundle were brought back on sale:

Two bundles were discounted:

A pair of wings and two accessories were released:

A limited unique face was released:

Wave 3

A limited unique pair of WC Ultimates headphones were released:

Wave 4

A new gear was released, and an existing one discounted:

• Maaus, the Battle Lion - 1,200 Robux
• Magical Unicorn - 2,000 Robux → 1,200 Robux (40% off)

Wave 5

Three items had their price cut:

• Guardian of the Light Cape - 1,000 Robux → 500 Robux (50% off)
• Heroic Golden Wings -  1,000 Robux → 600 Robux (40% off)
• Korblox Mage Staff - 1,000 Robux → 750 Robux (25% off)

A well-favored hat that was previously offsale went limited:

• Frozen Horns of the Frigid Planes - Formerly 5,000 Robux

An Rthro bundle had its price also discounted:

• Fearless Ocean Diver - 600 Robux → 300 Robux (50% off)

Wave 6

A neck accessory was brought back on sale and an item was discounted:

• 8-Bit Lifebar - 1000 Robux → 250 Robux (75% off)
• Goldlika: Legend - 15,000 Robux (2-hour timer)

Day 4 (Cyber Monday)

Day 4 began with the release of two back accessories:

• Red 8-Bit Backpack - 250 Robux
• Glorious Moth Wings - 100 Robux

Wave 2

A face accessory was released:

• Radioactive Beast Mode Bandana - 10 Robux (3-hour timer)

Wave 3

A gear was released:

• Twin Space Pistols - 500 Robux

Wave 4

Four accessories had their price cut:

• Turtle Back Shell - 500 Robux → 25 Robux (95% off)
• Business Cat -  200 Robux → 50 Robux (75% off)
• Purple Shoulder Dragon - 150 Robux → 75 Robux (50% off)
• Shoulder Bear - 300 Robux → 150 Robux (50% off)

Wave 5

Three limited unique faces were released:

• So Super Excited - Purple - Formerly 250 Robux (1,000 stock)
• So Super Excited - Blue - Formerly 100 Robux (2,500 Stock)
• So Super Excited - Pink - Formerly 25 Robux (5,000 Stock)

A gear, a hat, and a bundle were released:

• Gold Rose Headphones - 1,200 Robux (24-hour timer)
• Lightning Guard General - 500 Robux (24-hour timer)
• Phoenix Feather Burning Sword - 100 Robux (24-hour timer)

To end the sale, three pairs of shades had their price cut:

• Bling Shades - 1,500 Robux → 750 Robux (50% off)
• Winged Shades of Aqua - 1,000 Robux → 350 Robux (65% off)
• Sonic Shades - 500 Robux → 300 Robux (40% off)

Criticism

Many people had mixed reviews about this event, since many items eventually went back onsale after the event, such as the Split Equinox. Even though the Radioactive Beast Mode Bandana was released, many people missed out on it since many Robloxians were at school in real life.
