Blockedusericon

When a user is blocked in-game, a cross icon is shown near the player's username in the player list.

Blocking is a feature on Roblox that was added on October 2, 2014. Blocking a user will prevent interactions between the blocker and the blocked user. At first, a maximum of 50 players could be blocked; this limit was later increased to 75, and finally 100.

Restrictions[]

If you block someone, Roblox will:

  • Stop the user from sending you friend requests
  • Stop the user from sending you private messages
  • Hide the user's chat messages in-experience
  • Stop the user from using the join feature on your profile
  • Try to put you in servers that don't contain users who you have blocked
  • Stop the user from sending ally requests to groups owned by you
  • Stop the user from sending you trade requests

Some of the above restrictions are reciprocal, meaning if you block someone, you will also be blocked from sending them friend requests, joining their server, and so on.
