Brickyard is a series of Roblox experiences that was developed by David.baszucki, between December 2005 and February 2006.
Gameplay[]
v1[]
This version was released on December 15, 2005. A Brickyard Base contains a palette of several multi-colored bricks ranging from yellow to black, a chassis, and a sign. A empty green base is intended for the player(s) to build in it. Three HopperBins (Grab, Copy, and Delete) allows players to build with these bricks of their wishes, ranging from a simple house to even roads and playgrounds. At anytime, the builds may be saved and used for later building, or to then be imported into any maps being built.
v2[]
This version was released sometime in January 2006. The building base was deprecated, and the black palette was removed. A new palette would then appear, which was near transparent white bricks of sorts. Despite this, the gameplay remained the same. This is the earliest available version of Brickyard as of December 3rd, 2025.
Bulding Room[]
Also released sometime in January 2006. Same as the prior map (v2) but instead was placed in a room (Erik.cassel's My Room) with v1's building base, although not connected to the Brickyard Base.
v3[]
While the earliest instance of it is from March of that year, it was likely released in February of that year. The near transparent white bricks was now less transparent, and blue than was white. A new set of bricks appeared and the blue-red palettes were limited, to make space for the set of bricks. This is the latest Brickyard version as of 2025.
History[]
On December 15, 2005, the first cycle of the Brickyard series, v1, was introduced. It was the first in a series of starter places of the time. While v1 is lost as of 2025, v2-v3 have been found as of 2025. On January 12, 2006, Bulding Room was introduced to the public and used v1 and v2. At the time v2 was new, and replaced v1 as the starter place. Bulding Room would go on to replace v2 at this point and would continue well into early 07 at that time. On an unknown date in February 2006, v3 would be introduced and would replace v2 as whole, however despite this, the earliest instance of it is from March of that year.
