Soon after the style began gaining popularity, many other UGC creators aside from CodyDevv incorporated it into their own items. This led to a perceived over-saturation of Cartoony Rainbow items in the UGC catalog, which in turn has resulted in many users being turned away from the series altogether. Prominent Roblox YouTuber KonekoKittenWasTaken has discussed this in one of their videos as well.
