Appearance

A sword with a light to dark blue gradient to the blade and has a violet handle with a silver end. The middle features a silver striped guard with a gem in it. It also emits blue Sparkles that will appear on the avatar while worn and equipped in-game.

Function

When in-game, the user can click once to swing the blade, or double click to Lunge and strike forward horizontally to their mouse/touch location. As an extra effect, while lunging with the sword, it will leave behind a trail of light blue waves behind the blade.

Unique Abilities

Sword Twirl

Pressing Q will allow the user to perform a powerful combo finisher in which the Azure Periastron is spun in a rapid circular motion while the user's movement speed is boosted to 30 studs/s. This does a total of 8250 damage over 5 seconds assuming all hits connect, giving it 1650 DPS. It subsequently goes on cooldown for 10 seconds.

Sword Stance

!!!WARNING!!!: On Feb 09, 2024, Roblox pushed an update to RegionModules, accidentally breaking Sword Stance's counter detection. Due to this glitch, it is no longer possible to Counterattack as it will always register as missing thanks to the broken RegionModule. You can still parry but it wont automatically teleport.

Pressing E will allow the user to place the Azure Periastron on their back, signified by a shiny visual and sound effect. If the player receives damage, the player will parry. This nullifies all damage taken, jointbreakers however, can bypass this invulnerability.

• If the player does nothing, it will autoface the opponent and perform a counterattack dealing more knockback and damage the stronger the initial parry had blocked. The player must hold Azure Periastron out for 10 seconds to recharge the Sword Stance (it does not recharge while unequipped).
• If the player unequips Azure during the parry, they will perform a parry cancel, removing your parry invulnerability but also removing the cooldown.
• If the player client freezes, it will tag the opponents gear they tried to attack with. If the opponent reequips the same gear, ending the client freeze glitch will cause the opponent to take unavoidable damage. This is called Parry Hold.

Tech Skill

Using parry cancel, you can parry waves of projectiles reliably as long as they don't multihit, multihitting abilities would require you to burn the entire ability.

If you equip azure immediately after doing a parry cancel, you can anchor every part near you permanently, doing this in front of a wall can clip you through it for around 4.9 studs. (Parry Cancel Freeze Glitch in action) (Parry Clip in action)

Using an auto-clicker, it is possible to duplicate lunges.

• Azure Periastron is the only Periastron that has a glitch to duplicate lunges involving auto clickers, this glitch does not work on all other Periastrons.
• A month or so after the Azure Periastron being published, a blog post made by Sorcus Sorcus is a notable creator or influencer verified by Roblox Corporation. Learn more. on the official Roblox Blog detailed some extra lore for the gear; which related back to a clan group called Ne'Kotikoz, that Sorcus originally owned.
• The knockback of parry is based on 0.025x of damage dealt, meaning if you managed to parry something that deals infinite damage (i.e. Heat Seeking Missile Launcher), any nearby players will be sent to the null zone. This knockback also applies a bodyvelocity meaning the player can be unwinged if they equip a gear.
