The Eccentric Shop Teacher is a hat that was published onto the catalog by ROBLOX on May 10, 2010. It was given to 10 users in a fairly unknown contest. Some have speculated that the contest instructed users to build a type of game as seen from a few of the winners' games in the past-time. It went limited on an unknown date. This item is one of the rarest and most expensive hats on Roblox. There are only 4 player-owned copies in existence, making it very valuable. As of January 27, 2019, it has 2,616 Favorites.

Value & Rarity

For its extremely low and scarce amount of copies given out, it has become known to be one of the rarest limited on Roblox. Currently, exactly four copies are in existence none of which are being traded or sold. Due to its lack of circulation, its demand of rich traders has grown throughout its lifetime, causing it to be increased in overall value. It has a Recent Average Price that will remain at 576,204 Robux. It has a trading value of 4,500,000 Robux, being the fourth highest valued limited.

Appearance

It is a brown top hat with a steampunk design; three different sized-gears conveyed by a metal belt appear on the right and three steam pipes stick outwards on the back.

Many have debated that the Dark Assassin is rarer than this but others believe it is not.
Upon becoming a limited, forumers of the LMAD subforum controverted the value of it compared to The Wanwood Crown. Eventually, due to the overpaying offers toward this, it ended up becoming valued way higher than the crown.
It used to be the most valuable limited (being 4.2 million at the time) but lost its place in early 2015 when the Domino Crown surpassed its value.
Merely, Pieperson50 and TheGamer101 all had multiple copies of this hat individually at one point.
