Egg of Destiny is a hat that was published in the marketplace by Roblox 
on April 21, 2014. It could have been obtained as a prize in the Egg Hunt 2014 April Fools' Day experience. It was obtained 3,864 times. As of November 3, 2023, it has been favorited 3,547 times.
Appearance[]
The accessory looks like an egg with different colored long stripes. This is the only egg to have two special effects, which include 
Sparkles and 
PointLight. In addition, this was the first accessory to feature lighting, the second being the Sparkle Time Classic Pumpkin. In January 2020, this hat was updated and no longer had lighting.[1] As of October 2024, this item does not emit any light.
Obtaining[]
In the Egg Hunt 2014 April Fools' Day experience, players simply had to collect the Egg of Destiny in the center of the map to get a special badge. Then on April 21, 2014, all players who got the badge were given the Egg of Destiny.

- This Egg might also be named after the relic of the same name from the 2011 Easter film HOP.
- The egg previously had source code for the April Fools' Day Egg Hunt 2014 event inside the accessory. One of the scripts inside the egg gave an error in the Developer Console, catching the attention of various developers who were previously unaware of the egg's scripts loading inside their experiences. Shortly after on January 16th 2020, the scripts were removed from the accessory, followed by the
PointLight a few hours later.[1] - It was known that users could get kicked from Jailbreak when wearing the egg in-game.
- Because the Egg of Destiny was not uploaded to the marketplace when the Egg Hunt 2014 April Fools' Day experience launched, players were originally only awarded the badge. Some players skipped out on playing the experience, under the belief that the only prize would be the in-game badge.
- It is commonly worn by TypicalType as his April outfit.
- There is an easter egg of this egg present in Egg Hunt 2016: An Eggcellent Eggventure.
- The picture can be found as a form of a drawing located on top of a desk in an office building.
