- Originally, the vest was brown and had light green ammunition darts all around it. On September 18, 2019, the Nerf Tactical Vest was redesigned to have no ammunition darts at all, instead rather being replaced with seven pockets, a green badge on the top left corner that reads "I survived Outbreak Zombie Attack 2015", and a zipper in the middle.
- Although it is widely speculated that this was done to avoid the item being associated with terrorism, there has not been an official clarification from Roblox about these changes.
