In the Egg Hunt 2013 event game, players had to collect this egg when it very rarely appeared at certain areas of the map. Because the Cataclysmic Egg destroyed every other egg in the map every time it exploded, some players waited until it arrived before searching for Fabergé eggs. As old eggs were destroyed, the game spawned new eggs in quickly, increasing the chances of finding a Fabergé.
