The Staff of Shifting Polarity is a gear made by Roblox on September 9, 2011.
This gear cause opponents to take 48 damage in a 20 stud radius to the user, as well as causing the opponent and nearby unanchored objects to float in mid-air for a short time. When pressing the "Q" key, the user will slash with the staff, causing 16 damage per hit.
The floating effect can be made permanent if the polarity staff is destroyed (i.e. deleted by Gear Recycler or player dying)
