Zombies[]

Zombies[]

Reason 4 Life Zombies

Zombies are the most common infected to encounter, and are sometimes referred by in game players as regular zombies. They are very threatening in swarms and can drain a full health survivor to 0 in seconds, but they are slower by one tick point and can be killed when in spawning mode. They come in many different variants. They can be green, blue, or red. Their shirts can also be any color like pink.

Mini Zombies[]

Reason 4 Life Mini Zombies

These zombies are basically smaller versions of normal zombies. Although they're small, they're more dangerous as a normal Zombie, as they are faster than the player and is stronger too. Like their tall variants, their shirt and skin can be any color. The skin can be green, blue, or red while the shirt can be any color. The Mini Zombies also have tall heads and has a drooling sad face.

These zombies will spawn as a swarm in the parking lot outside the school. They used to spawn directly on the parking lot, but now they spawn on the rooftops of the school.

Boomer[]

Reason 4 Life Boomer

Boomers are bloated zombies that wears a red shirt, wears blue pants, has black hair, and has many bulges on its head and body. When killed, the Boomer will emit an explosion upon death. The explosion can also cause a shock wave that can force the player to sit down and can also deal damage. Boomers can also spit acid (3 at a time), and are slow. They can deal great damage if touched.

Boomers will spawn by on of the rock walls in the swamp and in the school after the tsunami.

Hunter[]

Reason 4 Life Hunter

The Hunter is a zombie that is a survivor killed by zombies. The zombie wears a black hood, black shirt, and black pants. Their skin can also be in any color. The Hunter is also a fast zombie. Once the Hunter touches a player, the Hunter will pounce onto the player and rip them to shreds. The Hunter is also stronger than a normal zombie, with the health of 1100

Hunters only spawn in the sewer system below the school in a mini hole, and some places in the factory. The first Hunter would spawn with a swarm of zombies down the stairs of the factory where the lamp post is located at. The last hunter spawns right after the swarm part and guards the stairs.

Witch[]

Reason 4 Life Witch

The Witch is a female zombie with pale skin. She has gray hair, wears a torn shirt, and wears a torn pair of shorts. The Witch is weaker and a bit slower than the Hunter. She has the walk speed of 19 and the health of 700. Like the Hunter, the Witch will pounce onto the player if touched and will rip them into shreds. The Witch is a unique infected, as it only spawns once, which is in the subway system where the ladder is located that would lead to a highway. The room in the subway has a metal shelf platform with a cave like hole carved into the wall. The witch would then later spawn and would try to tear the team members into shreds. Just for trivia, in Left 4 Dead the witch is a boss infected but in R4L she isn't.

Spitter[]

Reason4LifeSpitter

The Spitter is another female infected with dusty red skin. Her shirt can change into any color, but reddish brown is the normal one. She produces stomach acid which has caused her jaw to disappear due to the buildup of it. Her main attack is to spit acid at unsuspecting players and support zombie swarms, because she has the same health and walk speed as a normal zombie.

The Spitter only spawns when the group makes their make to the factory on the streets.

Tank[]

Reason 4 Life Tank

The Tank is a large muscular zombie and is the first boss of Reason 4 Life. It has no shirt but wears blue pants. The Tank can outrun a player, throw boulders at them, and can push them back with great force. The Tank can vary in strength depending on how many surviving players are with you. Although it's a boss, the Tank actually has double the health as the Hunter, as it has the health of 2700.

The Tank spawns after the team members climb up the ladder to avoid sewage and runs into a school. Originally, the Tank used to spawn by the corner of the room just by the floor, causing the Tank to be easily spawn killed. This was sort of fixed in an update where the Tank woulcd now spawn inside the wall, along with a swarm of zombies, and would later break through the wall.

Giant[]

Reason 4 Life Swamp Giant New

The most largest and strongest zombie in the game. It is stronger out of all the zombies in the game, even the Tank, as the Giant has the health of 7000. Although the Giant is big, the Giant can still outrun a human, as it has the walk speed of 17 or 18. The Giant is a green skinned zombie that wears a red a shirt and wears blue pants. The Giant is also the final boss of Reason 4 Life.

Before its redesign, the Giant originally wore a brown shirt and wore darker blue pants. The Giant also had a darker skin tone tol. The Giant was also seemingly extremely more stronger than the new Giant.

Tips[]

  • The Sniper, AK-47, M4A1, and the SCAR-H are the most important weapons in the game.
    • The AK-47, M4A1, and SCAR-H holds a decent amount of ammo each clip.
    • The Sniper can kill bosses quickly due to its high damage.
  • If you climb on the door of the safe house and go on top of the roof, you should be able to camp on the rocks.
  • The shots should only be used for fast zombies, such as the Hunter, Witch, Tank, and the Giant.
  • The molotov should be used for large swarms of zombies and the bosses.
  • It's possible to spawn kill the Tank if you and one of your teammates run into the wall between the words "Reason" and "For." You then have to jump and you should go through the wall. Wait for the tank and ther other zombies to spawn, and either melee them or shoot them (melee is proven very effective).
  • Melee weapons and secondary weapons should only be used if your primary weapon has run out of ammo.
  • You should always stay away from the boomer while killing it, as its shockwave can deal tons of damage to your health.
  • During the subway, use the ladder and try to spawn kill the witch if. Spawns.
  • Health Packs only work of you have half a health or critically low health.
  • Always try to stay away from zombies and look around you too, as zombies deal high damage to the player.
  • The Tank's boulders don't affect the player anymore, so you can now use the boulders as a way to back away from the Tank.
    • You can also use the Tank's push power to back away from the tank.
  • You need at least 3 or more players to take down the giant.
  • During the Giant boss, climb up the hill. Then wait for the Giant to go close to you. With perfect timing, you should be able to use the shot and jump onto the Giant's head, making it easier to kill it.
  • In the factory when the swarm of zombies appear, you should be able to climb the lamp post to stay safe from the zombies.
  • Lanterns are broken, so rely on light around the map to help you.
  • It's important to back away from the Giant as far as you can, as its legs deal lots of damage.
  • Never jump when the Giant is close to you, as any body part below its head can kill.
  • Aiming and shooting at any zombies head is very effective, and deals critical hits towards the zombie.
    • Shooting at the arms and legs is also effective too.
  • You should have many weapons ready for the Giant boss, as it takes a long time to take it down due to its sheer amount of health.
  • Another way to kill the Giant boss is luring it off the map. Unfortunately, this will kill you too.
  • If you're in the safe house and you have the chainsaw, always click until the chainsaw responds.
  • Stay away from Boomers if they vomit, or else your screen would be blocked by the green, indicating that you've been puked on by the boomer.
