Ryan {known on Roblox as Dummiez} is a Canadian Roblox developer most known for his games, including The Quarry, Audio Visualizer, New User Machine and Rhythm Track. His account was formerly an alt for a sword fighting clan before focusing on game development.
Dummiez's first game on the platform was originally released in August 2009, known as Destroy the Eiffel Tower, gaining 250K visits. His next found success would be Flappy Bird, a game based on the popular phone application Flappy Bird. At the height of the game's popularity, the average active player count for Flappy Bird was around 600 players with the game accumulating nearly 750K visits during this time.
At the beginning of April 2014, Dummiez made yet another successful game, The Quarry. It was featured in two Roblox sponsored events, Roblox's Holiday Giftsplosion and Jurassic World. As of December 2020, The Quarry has surpassed 11 million place visits. The Quarry was originally made as a tribute to QuintinityZero's Epic Mining 2 after it was broken by Roblox updates.
Post-2014, Dummiez created the New User Machine, a place which tracks Roblox user registrations in real-time. Audio Visualizer and Rhythm Track soon followed, both of which are audio-related.
On January 10, 2015, Dummiez was featured on the Roblox blog for his successful game The Quarry. [1]
