JauntyApeGames (real name Robert Hashman) is the former Senior 3D Artist and a 3D contractor for Roblox. He had produced over 1,500 assets (sponsored and non-sponsored) for the Avatar Shop since 2012, with his first released Avatar Shop item being Burger Bob. The final item he made for Roblox was the Crown of Knowledge, with the Mecha Domino Crown following afterwards to be the last one to release. Despite having made multiple popular catalog items since 2012, he did not create a Roblox account until August 2019.

He left Roblox after the rise of the dissolution of the catalog team after the reveal and release of the UGC catalog at the Roblox Developers Conference 2019. After working at Roblox, Hashman began working as the first Senior 3D Artist for the social networking app Zepeto on May 1, 2020. However, he soon left this position on May 22, 2020. Soon afterwards, he began uploading environmental assets, including sci-fi buildings and trees, to the Roblox library.

On July 16, 2020, JauntyApeGames deactivated his Twitter account, @ApeJaunty, after achieving 5,000 Twitter followers. They reactivated their Twitter account on July 19, 2020 after many developers convinced them on Discord to return to the site.

UGC

After leaving Zepeto, ApeJaunty began making UGC concepts to try to get into the UGC Beta Program; and on June 19, 2020, he suspended his UGC campaign, stating that he would continue sharing UGC ideas but would no longer seek to bring his items to the Avatar Shop. Although ApeJaunty has suspended his UGC campaign, he has continued to be an open critic of the items on the UGC catalog, speaking out against items, such as maplestick's Cartoony Halo accessories and IDontHaveAUse's The Cube. Nevertheless, ApeJaunty has seen some of his concepts published into the catalog, such as the Mega Alien Head, U.F.O. Hat, and the Classic Ray Gun Mark II, and has even collaborated with other creators to brings items like SimplyALemon's Black Witch Hat to the catalog. Although some creators put his items onsale, he later requested that zen_it take down his Mega Alien Head, U.F.O. Hat, and Classic Ray Gun Mark II after they uploaded the infamous No-No Brush accessories, which were later taken down for referencing a meme that joked about sexual harassment in children. zen_it also donated $200 to a child abuse prevention charity as an apology for making the hats, refunded every user who bought them, and took down the hats completely.
