There are four versions of the game. Despite Welcome to the Neighborhood of Robloxia being created in 2012, it did not become popular until early 2013. Despite the fact that the game is not copied from Welcome to the Town of Robloxia, it is often accused of so. Like other famous Town and City games such as The Complex, Lakeside, and Live in a Five Star Island Resort, Welcome to the Neighborhood of Robloxia is notorious for the large amount of online daters that play the game. The game has around 383K+ user favorites and 54M+ visits as of April 15, 2017. A volcano was recently added to the map, along with a Sheetz gas station.
The game is often confused with Be a Parent, Kid, or Pet by BadLittleKevin. This is because both games have similar maps and became popular at the same time.
Testin423 stated that the idea behind the game materialized with the deletion of his former account, Tyeman. He began to create a game similar to that of 1dev2's "Welcome to the Town of Robloxia". The original idea was to create the game to be a disaster-survival place, but the game became a role-playing game due to the increase in popularity.
As of 2017, the game is currently under review due to a recent enforced policy by ROBLOX. It will reopen as FE Protection is added. It reopened on April 15, 2017. The game is now available to play again.

The game is located in a typical suburban neighborhood. The town is located within a typical American, Canadian, or British climate, with mountains bordering the town. Several trees dot the map as well. The seasons change during the game, as well as the weather. Thunderstorms, flash floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, and volcanic eruptions, all happen randomly during the game. Welcome to the Neighborhood of Robloxia contains multiple houses that are built in a style similar to that of Welcome to the Town of Robloxia. Players can also live in a mansion if they purchased VIP. Living in an apartment, mansion, or trailer park is also an option. Players can also hold jobs, such as a restaurant worker or a storm chaser, and earn in game credits which can be used to purchase houses and vehicles. Much like 1dev3's Robloxity, police have pistols to shoot and kill criminals and even prisoners. The police also have handcuffs which instantly teleport criminals and prisoners to a jail cell. By default, all other jobs cannot be hurt by weapons, but this can be changed via an options GUI before spawning. There are several businesses within Welcome to the Neighborhood of Robloxia that are also used in real life. Other features in the game include a park, a movie theater, a nightclub, and a town hall. The game also features a restaurant known as The Iron Cafe, which is a famous place on Roblox that was built by IronInforcer, but it eventually got rebuilt. VIP has also been made for the game, which allows players to get a Fly tool, a Green Balloon, a Ro-torcycle, and a snowball. There are also two vehicle spawners exclusive to peple who purchased VIP for the game. These vehicles are a race car, which is equipped with spikes that can kill any player who touches them, and another kart.

All of the businesses are located in Welcome to the Neighborhood of Robloxia, but they also exist in real life. This was removed probably due to copyright issues.

- When this game reached 10,000,000 place visits, to celebrate, players were given 500 dollars when they started although this only lasted for a week.
- An adoption center has been added recently replacing the city hall and also added the adoption center job replacing the Judge and Mayor jobs.
- This game rebranded on August 5th, 2015 to V5, which made a lot of critizime.
- The cart exclusive to VIP users resembles the "ROB-BLS," a kart driven by Nintendo character R.O.B. in the game Mario Kart DS.
- Some players tend to abuse with the spiked car, as it can kill any player it rams into.
