A while after he received the Dominus, many hate accounts named after him started appearing in search results for his name, such as 'r0cuGoDie' and 'r0cuisahacker'. On August 29, 2018, a former exploiter by the name of {{player link|Abacaxl}} posted a thread onto a Roblox-related forum about how r0cu paid him real-life currency in order to receive advantageous information from Abacaxl over Discord about the event, however ended up issuing a chargeback 2 months later. The post went as follows:

<blockquote>

“Hello I'm former Roblox Exploiter Abacaxl and I'd like to invite anyone interested to hear about Dominus Winner 'r0cu' and his cooperation with people who gave them an unfair advantage over anyone else, one of which was me.

Most of you never heard of me before me but I was one of the few people who essentially used a method to download local scripts on games and read through code, some of which had important information on completing puzzles.

“It's very much assumed the people who have it right now obtained it through illegitimate means, by effectively datamining the puzzle” said by user 'millsbuddy' on 3/27/18

Anyways to the point, r0cu contacted me 4 to 5 months ago asking for help.

There were even a few that claimed to have leaked some of his own personal information, and this was likely what prompted the Roblox staff to delete the majority of accounts named after r0cu so they would not show up when his name was searched in the player search. Only 9 accounts remain named after r0cu. It eventually impacted his family, and it went to the point where they felt the need to contact authorities due to all the outrage from people who wanted the Dominus Venari.
If you don't understand, essentially what r0cu did was pay me a fortune for me to view the game files and give him the last big step to completing the challenge to have the dominus to himself, which was fair in my eyes since he paid me so much... until he chargebacked the money 2 months later.

Finally, some YouTubers added fuel to the already burning fire by telling their audiences that r0cu was not the true winner of the Dominus Venari, however, this was mostly so that they could take advantage of the Ready Player One event being a hot topic to rack up video views and subsequently ad revenue.
At the start of this post I said I was a former exploiter on Roblox which is true; I've learned from mistakes and decided to move on from what is such idiotic and useless wasted time spent on a video game for kids and teens. I truly understand and believe that gaining an unfair advantage and exploiting events are unethical now, contrary to what I thought before. That said, today I thought I would put an end to hiding this and tell the truth. The fact that r0cu still has the Dominus, one item that has a deep history behind it, and he hasn't said a peep? It tells you something.

That's all. Punish me for exposing a traitor and immoral person for all I care but I think r0cu needs a second look at with this new information.”

r0cu is a player on Roblox who is most known for having won the one-of-a-kind Dominus Venari from the Ready Player One event. Prior to this, he was not well known outside of groups dedicated to 'bhopping' and 'surfing'. He currently works as a builder and has been commissioned by groups such as Trade.

Controversy

r0cu was subjected to scrutiny after winning the first copy of the Golden Wings of the Pathfinder, as it was found that many players who had completed the quiz successfully before him were presented with an error that prevented them from advancing and stuck them in place until they closed the window. This bug was soon fixed by Ravenshield (the creator of the obby), however, he did not shut down the obby's servers after the fix so ultimately no one knew the bug had been fixed. Thus, it was a matter of who was lucky enough to complete the quiz first without knowing about the fix.

A while after he received the Dominus Venari, many hate accounts named after him started appearing in search results for his name, such as 'r0cuGoDie', 'r0cuUsesNoclip' and 'r0cuisahacker'.

Finally, some YouTubers added fuel to the already burning fire by telling their audiences that r0cu was not the true winner of the Dominus Venari, however, this was mostly so that they could take advantage of the Ready Player One event being a hot topic to rack up video views and subsequently ad revenue.
