Tiny Tanks! is a PvP experience created by Sharksie Sharksie is a notable creator or influencer verified by Roblox Corporation. Learn more.. The main gameplay of the game is to win the objective (which depends on the gamemode) over the enemy team in a 5-minute round by controlling a tiny tank.
The game idea came from the Tanks! minigame from Wii Play.
Gameplay[]
Users control a tiny tank and moving it by the arrow keys or the WASD keys, and shoot bullets by pressing the left mouse button. The bullets will instantly kill any enemy tank in its path. Users can also switch to use special ammo, which has special qualities than the regular ammo, but is bought with ingame currency (250 coins). By pressing the right mouse button, ability will be activated, which will depend on which type of the tank.
Tank Statistics[]
A tank has six main statistics. Those are:
- Reload Speed - How fast the tank can reload the first bullet after it stops firing.
- Fire Rate - How many bullets the tank can shoot per second.
- C. Reload Speed - How fast the tank can reload after the first reload.
- Reg. Ammo - How many standard bullets the tank can have loaded at once.
- Sp. Ammo - How many special bullets the tank can have loaded at once.
- Speed - How fast the tank can move.
Here are the statistics that are not the main ones:
- Turn Speed - How fast the tank can turn.
- Sp. Bullet Speed - The speed of the tank's special ammo.
- Abil. Reload Speed - How many seconds it takes the tank's ability to cool down.
- Mine Transparency - The transparency of the mine (Cruiser).
- Shock Range - The effective radius of the shock ability (Scout).
Categories of Tanks[]
Depending on the category of the tank, each tank's stats fit within its category. In addition, the ability and the type of special ammo depends on the tank's category.
There are four categories: Destroyer, Cruiser, Scout, and Ranger. Each category has five tanks in total, two of them being paid for Robux in order to be played.
- Destroyer - High reload speed. High C. Reload Speed. Low speed. Decent amount of Reg. Ammo. Doesn't excel well in fire rate. Its special ammo is Explosive ammo, which destroys nearby bullets and tanks on impact. Its ability is Pulse, which destroys nearby bullets and obstructions (such as mines and walls) nearby the tiny tank, having a 30-second cooldown.
- Cruiser - All-around tank, having similar numbers for all stats. Its special ammo is Bouncy ammo, which bounces twice. Its ability is Mine, which places a mine at the tiny tank's location. The mine can't be seen or destroyed by enemies unless the enemy tank is close enough to the tiny tank. If seen, the enemy can destroy the mine (via bullets or Pulse). If the enemy tank walks on it, the enemy tank dies and the mine is removed. 20 second cooldown.
- Scout - High speed and fire rate. Low reload speed, C. reload speed, and Reg. Ammo. Its special ammo is Piercing ammo, which goes through one bullet, but cannot bounce. Its ability is Shock, which slows nearby enemy bullets and nearby tanks for a few seconds, having a 20-second cooldown.
- Ranger - High Reg. Ammo. Low reload speed, fire rate, and C. reload speed. Decent speed. Its special ammo is Rocket ammo, which travels very fast, but doesn't bounce. Its ability is Wall, which creates a wall that bounces off ammo that comes it its path, but breaks when it deflects a certain amount of ammo. 30 second cooldown.
Gamemodes[]
- Deathmatch - The objective of the gamemode is to have more kills than the enemy team. If a team reaches 50 kills in total, that team automatically wins.
- Capture the Flag - The objective of the gamemode is to retrieve the enemy flag and return it to base. If a team reaches three captures, that team automatically wins.
- Domination - The objective of the gamemode is to keep the most captured points in the round. Each captured point gives the team a point per second. If a team reaches 250 points in total, that team automatically wins.
- Regicide - The objective of the gamemode is to obtain the crown and keep the crown for the team as long as possible. If a player obtains the crown, that player becomes king. The enemy team can steal the crown by one of their teammates killing the king on the battlefield. For every second the team has their teammate with the crown alive, they gain a point. If a team reaches 250 points, that team automatically wins.
Maps[]
