The Full DevRel Virtual Prize Series

The DevRel Virtual Prize series is a group of accessories created by Roblox's Developer Relations Department awarded to users who participate, excel or win in an official DevRel challenge or activity. The series was created on June 13, 2022, and items in the series are still awarded today. The series is divided into two main categories: Participation and Winners. Participation items are awarded to users who enter a valid submission in a DevRel challenge, and Winners items are awarded to users who win a DevRel challenge.

When a user qualifies for either the Participation or Winners series, they will be awarded the next item that they do not own. For example: if a user owns no items from the Participation series, they will be awarded the Achievement Medal. If they own the Achievement Medal, they will be awarded the Performance Keychain. As of June 25, 2024, there are six Participation items and three Winners items.

Under the announcement post, Roblox administrator bri9adeiro stated that "The DevRel Virtual Prize Series is a limited collection of items. This means they won’t be available forever - but once you earn them they are yours to keep forever!". Despite this, as of October 14, 2024, the prize series has not yet been replaced - and no plans to retire it have been announced.

As of August 4th The DevRel Virtual Prize series has discontinued in place of the The DevRel Virtual Prize Series 2: Chronicles of Developer Magic which was announced in the opening of Inspire 2025 Challenge live stream. All Participation and Winners items of the first DevRel Virtual Prize Series we're made into limited items shortly after on August 5th.
