F.E.A.R is a group of about 24,000 members founded initially August 3rd, 2009 by FEARGAMES[citation needed]. Due to confusion between the two, the group is more commonly known among the war clan community as Red FEAR[citation needed]. Although smaller than the larger The First Encounter Assault Recon, it predates it by almost a year[citation needed].

The group was founded in 2009 and eventually obtained by BobaTheMan in 2010 as part of the BTMpire, however, the group lost BobaTheMan (or, BTM's) ownership due to him giving out his groups then purposely getting himself IP Banned as part of an attempt to quit Roblox in 2011.[citation needed]
The group has a tradition of switching leaders often to ensure its continuation. This eventually resulted in a disastrous time period known as "the dark ages" where the main group was held by a hacker, and the group continued operating under F.E.A.R Sovereignty. The group was retrieved by Nighteasle, before being given to the rightful next commander. The group remained in a low-activity state until THEJokerToxic/Adoranz_Infinitum became leader. He was later overthrown by itsmedefectiveblocky who declared leadership during Adoranz_Infinitum's absence and unwillingness to pass the group down as per tradition. Itsmedefectiveblocky gave leadership to darkyellow4 who was responsible for organizing Conquest of the Lands and Conquest of the Elements. Darkyellow4 Passed leadership to S_pang, who later passed it down to Speedular, who is the current owner.
The group is also known for winning the 4th annual Bloxy's Favorite War Group category, which caused outrage since both F.E.A.R and The First Encounter Assault Recon were candidates in this category. This category was removed from the Bloxy's following the controversy.
