In Plain Sight 2 is a stealth-based action experience created by the Roblox group Farm Animal Association 
. It is a direct sequel to the earlier experience with the same name.
Each round, players must steal items from the map while disguising as NPCs in order to hide from the cameras who are trying to catch them. At the end of the round, players will earn cash for the items they stole or the players they caught. This cash can be used to purchase different characters and cameras to be used inside of rounds.
Special Gamemodes[]
With the exception of the anomalies gamemode, all players are given a 10% cash bonus during special gamemodes.
Anomalies[]
Anomalies spawn throughout the level as floating pink spheres. Interacting with an anomaly has a chance to cause any of the following to occur:
- More health! - Gain 1 max heart for the rest of the round.
- More weight capacity! - Gain 1-2 weight capacity for the rest of the round.
- Free cash! - Gain a random amount of cash, from $300 to $500.
- Freeze! - Completely frozen in place for 4 seconds. Spawns a large ice cube, indicating the player's presence to cameras.
- Banana! - Spawns a banana at the player's position, causing them and other thieves to slip.
- Highlighted! - Highlights the player for 6 seconds, visible to cameras through walls.
- Surprise! - Lowest chance of happening. Teleports the player directly beneath a camera, with a confetti particle and a loud visual cue.
Overtime[]
The cooldowns of cameras and thieves are reduced. Camera switching speed is drastically increased, while thieves have faster movement and stealing speed.
Stacked[]
All thieves are set to the same character.
Double Teaming[]
All thieves are set to one of two characters.
Halloween 2023[]
The 2023 Halloween event featured the return of multiple halloween-themed event thieves:
- Dracula
- Frankenstein's Monster
- Great Pumpkin
- Greymane
- Grim Reaper
- Plague Doctor
- Raven
- Scar
- Scarecrow
- Skelly
- The Mummy
And multiple halloween-themed cameras:
- Witch
- Spidey
- Bat
- Clown
This update introduced a new event map, Haunted School, where the objective is to survive and complete two tasks while stealing until the doors are unlocked. Unlike other special rounds, there are no cameras on the Haunted School map.
Additionally, the update re-introduced anomalies to every round.
Lastly, this update added a new temporary currency, scares, which can be used to purchase event characters. Scares can be obtained by completing tasks on the Haunted School map, or by finding frightened and ghost pumpkins. Frightened Pumpkins can be collected by thieves on any map, while ghost pumpkins appear and can be shot by cameras.
