Figures were player models used from late-2005 to March 2007, and were originally library models uploaded to the user profile upon registration, and used as the reference for the player's avatar when joining experiences. Players could choose from one of 8 unique preset figures when registering, or change it after registration to another figure from the "My ROBLOX" page.[1] They would also be given a Starter Place.

On March 7, 2007, Figures were replaced with CharacterAppearance.[2]
