Frappé® (initially named Starbucks) is the second largest cafe group on Roblox, and the most known one. Founded in 2013, it is currently owned by the chairman, Virinthius. Cyrogenix (aka outsize) is a former chairman, he is now defined as the Group Holder.
Frappé was originally named as Starbucks, but after a lawsuit in 2015 filed by Starbucks to Roblox, they were forced to rebrand to Frappé. Frappé is the one of the most active cafe groups on Roblox, but recently their player count has started to average around 500 players, and typically around 100 at each training session hosted throughout the day.

Frappé V5[]
Frappé V5 was released to the public on September 17, 2020. The style of the release was not anticipated, as the group released the game with low quality due to tight deadlines, resulting in buggy code and malfunctioning functionalities. Although some tests were conducted, they were not thorough enough, and the backend's capacity was not measured. This led to negative feedback and backdoor vulnerabilities .As a result, on September 25, 2020, they closed V5 until further notice.
Stated by 7kayoh (a developer within the group) in her "V5: Recode & Recode & Recode" blog post, the group had taken several steps to prevent similar issues in the future, the development team has made significant changes. They now use a more structured codebase called Knit, which provides a consistent and scalable architecture for their games. Error-prone code is wrapped in rpcalls, which ensures that errors are handled properly. The team has also established a new developer policy to reduce the likelihood of backdoor vulnerabilities, and only head developers have access to maintain the codebase.
However, all these changes meant that they cannot work on the 2020 release of V5 anymore, and they decided to recode it from scratch. While this means that the release will be delayed, the developers are working on creating high-standard, high-quality, and performant code for an immersive and stable gameplay experience.
Frappé's president, Kaavo (now a Vice Chairman), stated that he expected to have an improved V5 released in 2021. As of April 2023, this is yet to be released.

Plus, they must be verified in the Frappe Discord server. Those being said, you must be over 13 to get this rank. If a member of the Administration Team+ notices that the player is worthy, the player could be promoted. Head Baristas also receive the ability to kick people if there are no admins available in the server and they can call for admins in the Discord server. |
