A free item is a type of item on Roblox that does not require any Robux to purchase.
These are the following types of items that users can create and make free. However, they also cannot be made on sale, with exception of plugins. Usually these items can be configured through Configure page and ticking Allow Copying.

- Before some period in 2008, players were allowed to create free clothing. That was soon changed to where only ROBLOX can create free clothing. Some user-made t-shirts (the last free shirt was taken off sale in the mid 2010s) are still on sale to this day from that time period.
- There are only 10 free faces in Roblox.
- A few Rthro bundles are free.
