You conquered some of the most haunting game updates on Roblox, survived the forest’s sinister trials, claimed hidden treasures, and escaped the curse's grip...for now. A new dawn breaks, but beware. Halloween Spotlight was an official Roblox event that ran from October 23, 2025 and ended on November 3, 2025. The event was organized around a single hub area called The Cursed Clearing. The hub themed around a haunted forest with many paths and provided a central location from which players could access participating experiences.

Halloween Spotlight featured a selection of 31 participating experiences entries spanning genres. Players entered gateways in the hub to join those experiences and complete the event quests that is exclusively published for the Halloween Spotlight event.

Halloween Spotlight used two primary token types, Runes and Keys, which players earned by completing the quests in participating experiences and then spent in the hub to open rune and key paths. Rewards included avatar items. Paid items include User generated content, 24-hour only limited items such as a fedora and valkyrie, and cursed keepsake items that can be purchased for 1000 robux or bought separately. This event includes two grand prizes item.

Trivia

• This is the first installment of "The" event series to use the same featured bundle as a previous event, this being Headless Horseman from The Haunt. Unlike The Haunt however, owning the Headless Horseman does not give the Bling Track for free.
• Prior to the event starting, Five Nights TD 2 dropped out of the event due to the special map being buggy, which would likely not be fixed in time. The special map would be repurposed for a more generic Halloween event a day after.
• In the participating games, the Key quest is locked until the Rune quest is cleared. Despite this, keys appear before runes in the hub.
• There is a recurring bug where portals of games in which you had obtained both the rune and the key will be titled "Super Epic Roblox Experience" and cannot be interacted with. Occasionally, the icon will also be corrupted.
