Tower Blitz is a tower defense game developed by the Hexagon Development Community 
, created by OsterDog and Beefchoplets. The game was created back on February 28, 2020, and officially released on March 12, 2021.
Gameplay[]
This game involves teaming up and defeating waves of enemies on a chosen map. Upon joining a match, players can vote between 3 difficulties which are Normal Mode, Hard Mode and Expert Mode. A narrator named Captain will inform the player about upcoming enemies. Players get money at the end of each wave or by dealing damage to enemies and they can use the money to place and upgrade towers. Enemies may have special attributes make them take reduced damage or immune to a certain status effect, such as defense and flying. Once players failed and defeated or being successful and earning triumph, they gain EXP and Tokens. Tokens can be used to buy skincrates and other towers, and EXP are automatically used for leveling up. Those levels are required to unlock specific maps and towers.
Towers[]
Towers are the primary way to defend your base from enemies. Players have to place towers to defeat the waves of enemies. All towers have 2 upgrade paths with 4 upgrade tiers each to choose from. Getting the third upgrade tier on either path locks the third upgrade tier for the other path. Players can buy towers with tokens, some towers requiring a specific player level to buy.

Trivia[]

- Conscript, a removed tower, still appears in the game as a tower skin for Slinger.
- Techblade, a melee tower, is a reference to the Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade.
- The tower was originally a joke tower that can only be obtained during April Fools 2021 and 2022. However, after the passing of the YouTuber Technoblade, the tower became available permanently and can be unlocked for free by reaching level 10.
- It is the only tower to have 1 upgrade path.
- The Cold Construct Event 2021 was supposed to have four chapters, but due to the lack of time and motivation the developers had, Chapter 4 was cancelled.
- However, a year later, Chapter 4 has been released with the Cold Construct Event 2022.
- In Wave 2 on tutorial, if you place another tower instead of intently upgrading the first tower, Captain will spawn 5 different Kugelblitzes with the theme of the Overlord playing in the background.
- The developers of Tower Blitz made another game called Evade.
- Owning the Recon Base badge from Tower Blitz gives you exclusive skins of The Vanguard and Robotic Overseer in Evade.
