Controversy
When the game was released, many users were annoyed at the owner of the game (iBugouzinho) for copying some of its concepts from the video game Fall Guys. Previous Fall Guys-inspired games such as Fall Blox were content deleted by Mediatonic for copyright infringement.

On August 31, 2020, Mediatonic, the creators of Fall Guys sent Roblox a DMCA takedown regarding SlipBlox. Roblox was forced to permanently delete the game shortly after, but it was revived by the group WhatAGame a day later. iBugouzinho sent two counter-notifications regarding the game, but the first one declined 2 days later.
