Kaiju Paradise (shortly known as KP) is a multi-player fighting, team-based, survival experience where you spawn in an underground lab-themed facility known as LAMINAX Laboratories. As a Human, you must try not to get converted by creatures known as Raytraxians. While as a Raytraxian, you must mutate humans and live as long as you can. It was made by the group LAMINAX CO.. As of December 25, 2024, it has got 639.569 favorites.
Gameplay[]
The game starts off as you spawn in an area with a force-field barrier, or not as an event could be happening at the time. There is also a shop called Bandit's Shop, ran by a shopkeeper named Bandit, who is a racoon based Raytraxian NPC; and you can buy items, weapons, skin crates, and cosmetics for Raytraxians at said shop. There is also a computer with information about Raytraxians known as the Bestiary, as you unlock more by either mutating humans as that Raytraxian, or killing 5 of a specific Raytraxian in one life. Once you exit the force-field, you can explore the map, and there will be Raytraxian players wandering around converting other humans. There are weapons littered around the map that humans can pick up to fight and use, and they each have different stats and hitbox points. There are items also that can heal you like a medkit, or transmogrifying items that can turn you into a Raytraxian. If a player touches the barrier while in combat, they get knocked away and damaged. However, if they are a Raytraxian, and touch the barrier again, they get obliterated, dying instantly.
Combat[]
This experience has simple combat mechanics with hitbox system for the weapons and Raytraxian attacks. Humans use the weapons to hit and fight, and Raytraxians use mainly Attack and Grab to convert humans. If a Raytraxian gets hit by a human, they get stunned for a short period of time. If a Raytraxian grabs a human, they continuously drain and lifesteal their health, but they are slowed and the human has a chance to an escape by clicking the space bar or tapping the screen. Attack is a fast swipe that can deal tons of damage.
Raytraxians[]
Raytraxians are the opposing team to the survivors found in Kaiju Paradise. They are usually capable of mutating survivors, with some of them capable of actually killing a survivor. They cannot pick up weapons, although one of them can use them while wearing a hazmat suit. They are able to pick up items such as Bloxy Cola or Witchbrew to heal, as well as items like food which does not heal, although, they cannot pick up medkits.
When a player loses all of their HP and gets converted as a result of hazards around the map or from another Raytraxian, they will turn into one. There are specific items around the map that can also turn a human into a Raytraxian.

Experimental Experience[]
Kaiju Paradise has a separate experience called Kaiju Paradise Experimental Build where staff can "experiment" anything in, such as slight map modifications. This includes tests of minor upcoming features.
Trivia[]

- When Kaiju Paradise first released, it was instead a large cube themed around the crystal cave seen in the map, and it was an hangout experience instead of a survival fighting experience.
- The experience was originally more centered around goo, but it was removed at the start of 2024 due to relations with a mildly NSFW game.
- Before the goo content was removed, Kaiju Paradise was a prototype for a game called "The Final Experiment", which was canceled at the same time due to the same reason stated above, with most of its content being moved into Kaiju Paradise.
- However, in their prequel (before Kaiju Paradise was released) called The Underground Facility, it had content directly taken from said game, which caused the developers to change opinion to not make the game themed around that.
- As of 2024, the experience started to very slowly lose popularity and active players due to the removal of some Raytraxians most players liked/loved, lack of interest, moving into other experiences, or the extreme amount of toxic players, which some has became hard to moderate due to constant ban evasions.
- It can be also be due to a DDoS (Distributed Denial-of-Service) attack in which some KP dislikers/haters set up bots which do not appear in servers, but instead set up a "queue" to delay the time in which players join.
- The Experimental experience was formerly used to test upcoming features as well, including major updates. This was changed to prevent spoilers.
- The Raytraxians were known as Gootraxians prior to the 1/8/2025 mini update.
