Tower of Misery is round-based obby experience created by Limitless Studio. It is heavily inspired by Tower of Hell. In the game, a randomly-generated set of 5 stages will spawn into the map, separating the lobby from the top of the tower. This will occur every five minutes at the beginning of every new round. The objective for each round is the same: players must traverse through the obstacle course stages without falling or dying until they reach the top. If they manage to make it to the top of the tower, the player will need to touch the large, glowing door at the end of a short corridor. This will register to the game that the player has won, giving them 50 bonus EXP (75 is they own the +50% EXP gamepass). Also, players who have touched the door will receive further EXP bonuses at fixed 30 seconds intervals.

Sections[]

Currently, there are 70 stages of varying difficulty in Tower of Misery that can spawn into the tower. Unlike Tower of Hell, sections in Tower of Misery are not named. It is also unclear who made each section, although stage creators are acknowledged in the game's credits.

Difficult Mode[]

When players join Tower of Misery, they start in the normal mode, however, by clicking the green button on one of the lobby signs, they will be teleported to a different version of the game. This version is Difficult Mode.

There are three main things that make Difficult Mode different from Normal Mode.

Difficult Mode
Towers consist of 10 stages.
Players can earn more EXP.
More coins are given for winning.

EXP System[]

In Tower of Misery, players can earn EXP in three ways. All figures written below are only true assuming the players do not have the +50% EXP Gamepass.

Highest Point[]

Every stage in Tower of Misery is exactly 50 studs in height. The combined height of all five stages in a tower is 250 studs. The game will track a player's highest position on the tower and reward EXP to them accordingly. The calculation used by the game:

Keep in mind that the height of the tower is 250 studs, so 250 is the highest number than can be registered for a player's "Highest Point."

Winning[]

A player is considered to have won the game if they touch the large, glowing neon door at the top of the tower. By winning, the player will receive 50 additional EXP.

Bonus EXP[]

At fixed intervals of 30 seconds, 20 EXP will be rewarded to players that have won the round.
