A LocalScript is a type of Script that runs on players' client instead of the server. These scripts can only be run in a player's Backpack, PlayerGui or Character. They are useful for binding keys, controlling GUIs and creating visual effects, all of which cannot be done on normal scripts.

However, a LocalScript cannot replicate its changes to the server and to other players, such as coloring the baseplate pink, which others cannot see those changes. In order to get around this, both Scripts and LocalScripts need to use ExplorerImageIndex 75RemoteEvent or ExplorerImageIndex 74RemoteFunction. LocalScripts also cannot access ExplorerImageIndex 69ServerStorage and ExplorerImageIndex 71ServerScriptService, as these services can only be accessed by server scripts.
