Moderation history was a feature originally intended to be for Parent accounts,[citation needed] but later was used and was shown on the accounts of all users when Parent accounts were removed. When parent accounts were removed, the moderation history was able to be seen from your account settings. It is no longer visible on the settings page, though it is likely that administrators can still view the moderation history of users. They are now hidden from users because they were being used as a "badge of honor" by people who received many bans and warnings, and many users were showing off their moderation history on the forums, though showing it off was against the rules when moderation history existed. It is still against the rules to talk about types of moderations acted upon your account.
Every time you are moderated, you are told what type of moderation action you got, the time you got it on (and for bans and appealed terminations, the time it was lifted), and a message from the moderators. The "message" is mostly just a generic warning saying something like "(insert bad action here) is not allowed on ROBLOX!". Users do not get personalized moderation messages often. Any type of moderation acted upon your account would show up in your moderation history (anything violating Terms of Service, Rules of Conduct, and/or ROBLOX Forum rules). The types of moderations that could be found in a user's moderation history are deletions/terminations, warns, bans, and reminders.

Community Involvement
While some users used the moderation history as a "badge of honor", some also used it as light satire or a way to show how "cool" you were. Moderation history was, and still is not talked about often, unless it was/is a user complaining about unfair moderation. In addition, while the community is involved in discussion of moderation history, so is ROBLOX itself.
Gifts and Other Official ROBLOX Items/Events
Moderation history was also used by ROBLOX for gifts in the Giftsplosion events around Christmas time for gifts related to your moderation history. So far, the gifts that involve moderation history require users to not be moderated in the past time frame to get the gift. The gifts that have required clean mod history are the Active Gift Of Chill and the Cool Gift of Nice And Busy Users. Both of these gifts were the first gift and turned out to be something related to wintertime.[citation needed] The two rewards from the gifts were Active and Chill Snowman and Winter Styles Scarf and Hat, respectively. Other than being used in gifts, moderation history is not otherwise used in other areas of ROBLOX.
