Monthly active users (often abbreviated to MAU) is a number representing how many unique users have visited a Roblox experience within that calendar month. MAU is used when awarding items in the Crown of O's series. MAU also can be used as a tool to assess visitor engagement over a period of time. Place visits over a month is not the same as monthly active users, as MAU does not account for multiple visits from an individual user during that 30-day period. To increase MAU, Roblox encourages developers to provide regular updates that will encourage users to return to the experience and to quickly address issues that could cause users to stop visiting, such as errors or glitches.[1]
Monthly active users can be viewed when downloading the Monthly Experience Stats Data onto a program such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel. It can also be found on PlayFab for developers who have been invited to use the tool.
