My Hello Kitty Cafe is a Roblox event that started on April 25, 2022, and will end on an unknown date (however, the game is planned to never close)[citation needed]. The event is part of a partnership with Sanrio to bring Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters to the Roblox platform. The Roblox part of the event, including its official experience and UGC items, was created by the Roblox development group Rock Panda Games.
Roblox provided the Sanrio account to the developers to upload UGC items. Additional items were released on June 25, 2022, and again on July 30, 2022. An official event link was supplied by Roblox.[1]
As part of the promotional event, Sanrio added a page on their website for the Roblox experience, announced it on their official Twitter account, and re-released merchandise from their real-life Hello Kitty Café establishments.[2][3]
