Outpost Indigo is a base for the super-clan WIJ. It is the group's most popular fort, built by WIJ leader SilentSwords and co-leader Owen0202 on December 2, 2007, and it is currently on SilentSwords's profile. It is unlike any other group fort on Roblox, as it has unique weaponry, a unique way to capture the base, and unique gameplay overall. This fort was recently stolen in 2011 when byte codes were still around, so a user that was named FreeBase4U who was later banned decided to make this a free model for all to use.

According to its description, WIJ Outpost Indigo lays on the border of hostile space on a yet unknown planet.

On February 23, 2013, Indigo II was released, as a part of the WIJ developer project wARC. With the release of wARC, one weapon, the G25 (Grenade launcher) was removed and replaced by five new weapons, the SWD (Charged plasma sword), C22 (Dual hand cannons), the L95 (Light support weapon), the F99 (Plasma charger/flamethrower), and the R87 (Charged railgun). The sniper rifle, the SUF, was soon nerfed along with an update that increased the difficulty to gain INDG levels by 15%.

History[]

Indigo I[]

Outpost Indigo

Indigo I

Before players spawn on the map, their characters are automatically deleted, as they must first choose which team to be on before they may spawn. Players cannot join the WIJ or allies team if they are not in WIJ or an allied group, respectively. WIJ and allies spawn inside the base, whereas raiders spawn inside their own base on the opposite side of the map. The Raiders' Base is not accessible by WIJ or its allies to prevent spawn-killing. In between the two bases is a large field where players can battle using WIJ's unique guns. The actual fort is carved inside the mountains. Inside the WIJ base, there is an armory, jail, bomb room, and a room on the second floor where players can shoot using a height advantage.

Indigo II[]

Indigo II

Indigo II is a revamped version of Indigo I that was released on February 23, 2013. Like the first version, players are automatically kicked when they spawn. Raiders also enter the base in the same fashion as in the first version. The map itself is similar to the first version, except that it is bigger. Players spawn at the back of the map, which is similar to the first version. However, in Indigo II, the raiders' base is larger, and it is on a beach. At the other side of the map is the main base. Like the raiders' base, it is a larger and more detailed version of the base at Indigo I. Inside the base, there are four buildings, three of which are in a mountain. The first building is the largest and is carved into the surrounding mountains. It contains the armory, jail, conference room, nerve room, a cave where WIJ and the allies of WIJ spawn, and barracks. Players also have access to the room of the building. The second building, which is also carved into the wall, contains a rally room. The third building, which connects to the second, contains the terminal and the garage. A building detached from the other three contains a room that shows the four clans that WIJ has defeated in wars (The Robloxian Army, The Roblox Assault Team, The Allied Robloxian Troops, and The Raven Empire led by 2coolfireworks).

New weapons were released synchronously with the release of Indigo II. For the first time in the history of WIJ, there is now a sword available at the armory. At Indigo II, players are allowed to have only 2 weapons in their starter pack at one time. Also, players must unlock new and more powerful weapons by getting more KOs and levelling up through the INDG system.

Scripting[]

Outpost Indigo is also known for its exceptional scripting. The scripting in the base has made SS and Owen famous for their ability to script. Most scripting in this base and other WIJ forts is different than the scripting done by other clans. One example is the healing pads. Members can run into these pads when their health is low and then get full health. However, players can only do this when the red cross is displayed on the pad and when part of the player's health is gone. Other examples of scripting are the forcefield in front of the cave, the GUIs, the battery powered guns, and the experience/level system introduced by wARC.
