Self roles[]
The 8 self roles can be acquired by any member of the group. These roles do not have any special permissions, but can be used for roleplay in the game PTFS. These roles are:
- Trainee Pilots
- Airline Pilots
- Cargo Pilots
- Stunt Pilots
- Fighter Pilots
- Rescue Squadron
- Ground Crew
- Trainers
Acquiring any of these roles requires a member to join the group's rank picker game.
Special roles[]
There are two special roles in the group. These roles, like self roles, do not have any special permissions. These roles are given to players who have reached certain milestones in PTFS. These roles are:
- Elite Pilots
- Advanced Pilots
The Elite pilots role is awarded by reaching 3,000 "Minutes flown" in PTFS. This requires the player to be in the air, in an aircraft, for 3,000 minutes. A member can give themselves this role using the rank picker game once they have reached 3,000 minutes.
The Advanced pilot's role was obtainable by reaching 1,000,000 "points" in the game. 100 points were awarded for every 10 seconds in flight, and also for performing stunts. 1,000,000 points is roughly equivalent to 1670 minutes, excluding points awarded by stunts. This role was made unachievable shortly after its conception and made impossible to get when points got replaced by minutes flown. As a result of this role no longer being achievable, it is regarded as an "OG" role.

There are three staff roles in the group. These roles have special permissions in the group and PTFS to be able to moderate the group and the game. These roles are:
