Admin was one of the earliest created user accounts on Roblox, and the first account created on the Roblox Forums, with the ID of 1. The user "Admin" was created on June 30^th, 2004 on the Roblox Forums, with an ID of 18 on the Roblox site.

Speculation[]

Misconceptions of Admin being the first-ever user were rumored for years, but there is no evidence of this being true. It is speculated that the account "Admin" seen on Roblox.com under ID 18 was only created in preparation for account syncing with the Roblox Forum profiles, which were under a different database system. It is theorized that the forum account "Admin" was automatically generated by the forum software Roblox was using, ASP.NET^[1]. Because of this, Admin appears as user ID one in archives of the forum member list.^[2] It can then be determined that at least 17 user accounts on Roblox had existed prior to the account's creation, and prior to the forums. David.Baszucki may have been the first Roblox account, as he is seen under ID one on the Roblox site for some time until the account Roblox Roblox is a notable creator or influencer verified by Roblox Corporation. It is further theorized that the users qa, David.baszucki, erik.cassel, and Toolbox, previous accounts before Admin were made, were then manually added to the forum member list. After this, it is possible the forum member list and the Roblox account database were properly synced, and all users from Todd and downward on the member list are accurately aligned with their Roblox profiles and join dates. This is, again, speculation, but the most likely reasoning for the discrepancy.

The "June 30^th, 2004" join date for forum profiles belongs to the users Admin and qa. However, on the site, it appears as February 27^th, 2006, due to a database change that happened on that day.
Contrary to popular belief, the current "Admin" account is not an actual admin.
Admin created a place on October 9^th, 2006, named "Admin's Place", which is currently named "[ Content Deleted ]", and can be viewed here. The place was last updated on June 1^st, 2009, despite the account being terminated. This is due to the place's name and description being deleted for unknown reasons.
There is evidence from an archive page of a Roblox Forum Member List showing that the account was last active on October 9^th 2006, the same date that Admin's Place was created.
- Prior to Admin last being active on this date, Admin was last active on July 2^nd, 2004, and had 3 forum posts, according to evidence from an older archive of the Roblox Forum Member List. These 3 forum posts are currently lost, however are older than the currently oldest known forum post, posted on July 12^th, 2004 by david.baszucki with the forum post ID of 10.
It has commonly been stated that Admin was terminated on October 9^th, 2006 to test moderation, however this is actually unconfirmed and not enough evidence has been found to support this claim. As seen from a post by Shedletsky on Gamedev, the first known ban occurred on October 17^th, 2006^[4], eight days after the supposed "ban" of Admin.
- Shedletsky asks in the post what the best way to ban a user would be, and suggests IP-banning. If it is true that Admin was banned on this date (which has unconfirmed and potentially false), it is plausible that Admin was terminated but "IP-banning" would not yet have been implemented.
- The reason so many users believe Admin was terminated on October 9^th, 2006, is due to the fact Admin's game "[ Content Deleted ]" (formerly "Admin's Place") was created on this date, and Admin was last online on this date as seen from the evidence in the previous trivia.

The reason Admin had seven friends was due to an exploit which occurred in September 2015 which caused users to friend any users without the other user having to accept, including terminated users. The way Admin managed to gain 183 followers is currently unknown.
