Blox Hunt is a hide-and-seek experience created by Aqualotl . It is based on the Garry's Mod game Prop Hunt.

The experience has a sequel named Hide N' Find that looks like Blox Hunt but its Robloxian 2.0 instead of a Blocky Body.

Gameplay[]

Upon joining the game, players would spawn at the lobby, waiting for the next round to start. They can try the two obbies, visit the shop to buy accessories in-game, or explore and see the various secrets the lobby has to offer.

There can be up to 12 players in a server and at least 2 players to start a game. Up to two players play as seekers (one if there are less than 5 players), and everyone else plays as hiders. During the round, players would have to watch carefully for their health and energy bar which is really crucial for victory.

If all hiders are found, then seekers wins, but if there are still hiders left once time runs out, then hiders win.

Roles[]

There are two main roles, and one neutral role.

Hiders[]

The hiders job is to turn into objects and blend into the maps surroundings. They are colored in blue and are given 30 seconds to hide.

Hiders would have to walk up to an object and click it to become that object. When moving as an object, a blue glow would give up the players location, making it easier for seekers to see the players. After standing still for three seconds, the glow would disappear and the object will automatically rotate to fit in. Once in hiding motion, hiders can click taunt, giving them 2-4 tokens but gives up the players location or zap nearby seekers, making seekers trip and lose some health but removes half of the hiders energy in the process. Hiders can also use the many gamepasses to help them hide.

If a hider is caught, they would automatically be turned into a seeker.

Seeker[]

The seekers job is to find all the hiders. They are colored in red and are given a 3-minute timer to find the hiders.

After the 30 second timer, seekers would zap objects to find the hiders. Each zap a seeker does removes 25% of their energy as well as reduce some of their health. If a seekers loses all their health, they are out of the game, turning into a spectators, which if all seekers turn into spectators, hiders automatically win.

There are many game passes that aid a seeker to find hiders.

Spectators[]

The spectators are somewhat neutral. Spectators stay at the lobby, doing nothing. Players who loss all health as seekers or toggled the AFK button will become spectators. Players that have joined late will also be spectators but can purchase a permanent gamepass to spawn in as a seeker.

Maps[]

Currently, there are 8 playable maps and 3 discontinued maps.

Shop[]

The lobby shop allows players the opportunity to purchase gamepasses, 52 in-game hats, and 16 faces which require a gamepass.

Tips[]

Hiders

Hiding in areas that are dense and compact with other objects are the best spots to hide in.

Hiding in areas that aren't looked at very often. (small gaps, behind the door, etc.)

Seekers

Hiders disguised as small objects normally have a hitbox taller than the object itself. Try standing on top of small objects.

Push around objects. Hiders disguised as objects should move if pushed.

Try to memorize some of the more obvious details that are seen in maps.

Gamepasses[]

These are permanent upgrades that do various things in-game.

Walk Speed	250 Robux	Makes your player 40% faster. Includes a cosmetic.
Instant Hide	250 Robux	This is a Game Pass that will only work if you are a Hider. This pass makes you instantly hide. The glow following you will remove and your character will be rotated to blend in. You will not need to wait the 3 seconds.
Radar	400 Robux	This is a Game Pass that will only work if you are a Seeker. Gives you a radar that tells if a Hider is within 40 studs of your player. It has a 10-second cooldown and will automatically ping. Note: The radar does NOT show the location of Hiders. It only tells you if one is near. Includes a cosmetic. The price was raised since can it unbalance the game at times.
Face Changer	50 Robux	Allows you to change your character's face. Currently, there are currently only 16 faces available. This gamepass unlocks the face section in the Blox Shop.
Cloner	400 Robux	This pass allows you to create a clone as a Hider. If a Seeker attacks your clone, it will explode resulting in the Seeker taking 50% damage and their Energy drained.
Seeker Points	250 Robux	You will receive 2 points each time you zap a Hider.
Auto-Seeker	500 Robux	Allows you to place a device as a Seeker that targets any Hider within a 15 block radius, draining their energy and dealing 50 damage. Only works once per round. Includes a cosmetic.
Vanish	350 Robux	Allows you to turn invisible as a Hider for 5 seconds. Only works once per round.
