clockwork is a former Roblox administrator. He was a summer intern at Roblox through 2007 and returned for another internship during the summer of 2008.[1] After ending his summer 2008 internship, he went to work for Blizzard Entertainment as a programmer. In 2015, clockwork would co-found a finance company called Penny. In March 2018, the company would be sold to Credit Karma.[2] As of 2026, clockwork remains inactive across his social media accounts.

Roblox HQ[]

In 2008, clockwork would launch a fansite called Roblox HQ. The site featured a Forum, Level Calculator, Trading Post and more. Users were also given the option to submit popular Roblox games and have them reviewed and ranked, as could be seen on this page. Activity from clockwork on Roblox HQ would cease around December 2010, before the site closed in February 2015.

Activity & password guessed[]

clockwork would become less active on the forums after January 2009. Many users on the forum attributed this to his employment with Blizzard Entertainment.[3]

On May 31, 2010, clockwork was password guessed by an unknown individual. The user gave up ownership of his groups[4], changed the titles of forum posts, locked threads and both made and unlocked stickies.[5] The account was quickly terminated.

On December 13, 2010, the account was reinstated and clockwork regained access to the account, where he was briefly active on the forums.[6]

On May 3, 2012, clockwork was compromised and his verified email was changed to blank@blank.blank. The account was seen in this game standing and doing nothing before it would be terminated once again. He would later be unbanned in January 2013.[7]

In March 2015, rumours began to spread that clockwork was compromised as users noticed he was selling some of his limited items.[8] However, SlingshotJunkie confirmed that the account was not compromised.[9]

In 2019, the account was used to test the functionality of UGC. It has remained inactive since.

C-Framed places[]

Two of clockwork's places, Duck and Satellite, are composed of numerous C-framed bricks. Many users believe that there are at least 200 C-framed bricks in each of his places and that it took him approximately a month to build both places. Some evidence points to believe that these were imported into Roblox through scripts he had created as well.
