The game was based on the famous Nintendo game series "Mario Kart".
The gameplay is very similar to Mario Kart, in which players attempt to race against others in 3 laps at higher positions in order to win the race. Power-ups are present in order to help the player gain some advantage over other opponents, such as boosting the player with the Mushroom and temporarily knocking out some opponents with green and red shells, which prevents the affected opponent from moving for a brief amount of time. In newer versions of the game, the player's standard kart resembles the Standard Frame with Standard Tires from the game Mario Kart 7. Players can also change the primary and secondary colors of the kart.
