KreekCraft (also known on YouTube as Kreek) is a Roblox YouTuber with over 16 million subscribers. He primarily uploads Roblox content and also does Roblox-related livestreams, usually on Roblox news and popular games, such as Steal a Brainrot. Before he started uploading content focused on Steal a Brainrot, he initially focused on uploading videos on the games Doors, Piggy, and Jailbreak. He owns a fan group called KreekCraft Community. He also collaborated with the game studio Wonder Works to create a game called TIMMEH, which was eventually discontinued due to Wonder Works focusing on more projects, such as Overlook Bay and other games.
History[]
Moving on from Jailbreak[]
On July 12, 2020, Kreek uploaded a video titled "DID KREEKCRAFT QUIT ROBLOX JAILBREAK!? (The Truth)". He said that he was tired of constantly making Jailbreak videos because he found the game to be very repetitive, and because of him quitting posting Jailbreak content, he stated that he was moving on from Jailbreak to focus more on Piggy videos, where he can cover a variety of new topics such as gameplay, theories, leaks and builds.
He occasionally uploads Jailbreak content nowadays, but only if there is a major update in the game. In 2019, KreekCraft participated in RB Battles and was assigned with MyUsernamesThis to complete the given task in Jailbreak.
Piggy Ends[]
On November 23rd, 2021, KreekCraft uploaded a video on his channel named the end. In the video he complains about Piggy ending and what he will do now on the channel. After that he slowly stopped uploading Piggy content and focused on more general Roblox content. On August 14, 2022, KreekCraft played the hit game Doors. It became his favourite Roblox game very fast, and he has uploaded videos and livestreams on it since. Since The Hunt event, Kreek has now liked the game better.
KreekCraft's New Content[]
In 2024, KreekCraft would change up his content style. He went from making gaming videos talking about updates on Piggy, or live events on Jailbreak, to Roblox news type style videos. In this type of style, he talks about new Roblox updates or features that Roblox is changing. Viewers seemed to like this style, as he still pulls consistent views on these videos. Although Kreek has changed his main content, he still livestreams himself playing various games, some not even on Roblox.
Controversies[]
With a staggering 10 million subscribers, it would be impossible to think that KreekCraft has never been in any controversies. In November 2024, KreekCraft changed his YouTube banner to be a picture of his avatar, holding Roblox gift cards, sitting by a Christmas tree. Viewers didn't think much of it at first, until users started to call him out on X/Twitter, claiming that the banner was AI generated. Kreek quickly responded by saying it wasn't, claiming that he had paid an artist he found on Fiverr. He also said that this artist had worked with other big names, so he doubted that this was AI. Soon other artists started to chime in, saying that it actually was AI. After a careful inspection, KreekCraft said in a video that it in fact was AI. He took it apart layer by layer and found that some of the assets in this picture were stolen from Google Images, and parts of the banner were clearly AI generated. KreekCraft expressed that he was sorry about this, and he said he will reach out to the artist to get it sorted out. KreekCraft has since changed the banner to what it is nowadays, being the "Absolute Cinema" meme with his face on it.
