Combat League is a FPS game created by OrbitalOwen and co-developed with SilentSwords. It was fully released to the public on February 22, 2016.[1][2] It was also reviewed by the official Roblox YouTube Channel in March 2016.[3]
Combat League had several alpha tests throughout mid-late 2015 until its paid access beta release on December 26, 2015.[4] By the end of 2016, development on the game dwindled as the developers focused on their upcoming project Q-CLASH![5][6] Combat League officially discontinued further updates in 2018.[7]
At the start of the round, a random map and game mode is chosen. There are three modes - Team Elimination, Capture the Flag, and Control Points. Players have a loadout consisting of a primary weapon, secondary weapon, melee weapon, and equipment. Mousewheel or 123 can be pressed to switch between weapons. Equipment can be used by pressing E. Sprinting can be done by holding ⇧ Shift. Players can also use killstreaks by pressing 4 if they gather many kills without dying. Players can regain health or ammo by touching pickups found around the map, or touching the lockers found in their team base.
The shop can be accessed at any time by pressing M, which allows the player to buy items or change their loadout. The main currency of the game is Bucks, which can be earned from kills, assists, mode objectives, wins or daily rewards. Players also earn XP during rounds, which contributes to their level. Levels are simply a measure of the player's skill.
