RobloTim is a former administrator who was a Director of Engineering at Roblox from 2008 to 2013. He is most known for creating the groups feature and the first official Roblox community: the RobloHunks.
RobloTim was one of the engineers responsible for Roblox's website features such as chat feature, party feature, and best friends tab.[1] He also worked alongside Shedletsky to create a Roblox building contest system. [2]
He has multiple items named after him, RobloTim's RobloHunk Potion, RobloTim's Pretty Purple Princess Hat, RobloTim's Water Polo Cap, RobloTim's Chavez Burrito, RobloTim's Triple Crown of Surfing, and RobloTim's Sagehen.
Accusations[]
On March 27, 2013 during the Egg Hunt 2013 Event, the method to obtain the Yolk's on Us hat was changed. Some users believed that RobloTim was trolling users by withholding information and hints about the way to obtain it. [3]
RobloTim was also accused of hacking multiple times in the past. Many users were skeptical about RobloTim's badges due to the fact many of them were obtained out of order.[4] [5] RobloTim later revealed that since he was a developer he was able to give himself any badge he wanted. [6]
