Toolbox was a shared staff account Roblox used to test out the feature of the Toolbox and create models, hence its username. Toolbox is notable for creating some of the oldest models within Roblox, the oldest being Ball 4x4x4. Due to Toolbox's termination, its models are no longer viewable as an update in 2023 limited viewing models from terminated accounts. The account is also notable for being the 5th user to join the Roblox Forums, but currently has a Roblox ID of 8. Toolbox's models were initially Roblox Studio's default toolbox models and were created the same day models were added to the game.
Models[]
Toolbox's models were uploaded to Roblox between May 10th, 2005 and May 13th 2005. In total, 52 models were uploaded to the Toolbox account. Due to an update from 2023, assets from terminated users are unavailable, meaning you can't access normally the models pages. Also, all the models were getting more corrupted over the years. The only ways to get the uncorrupted models are downloading the models, install an old Roblox build, import the model, download the model from the build and then, import the model in the Roblox Studio. Or you can get the original models from old places, or getting them in the Creators Hub store.
Ball 4x4x4[]
Ball 4x4x4 was the oldest model uploaded to the Toolbox account, with the ID of 770. Ball 4x4x4 is a light blue sphere with dimensions of 4 by 4 by 4.
Tree[]
Tree is the only Toolbox model that is currently deleted. Tree features the iconic tall block and sphere. It was used in Crossroads.
Chassis[]
Chassis is the oldest model on-sale. Featuring a basic chassis model. In the early builds of Roblox, users could move the chassis with the UHJK keys.
Skooter[]
Skooter is a light blue brick with four wheels and a handle. The skooter thumbnail appeared later in the installer screen from 2005 to 2007.
Termination[]
On August 20th, 2018, Toolbox was terminated due to being compromised.
On January 7th, 2021, Toolbox's termination, including qa's, was pardoned by Roblox for unknown reasons.
On March 10th, 2021, Toolbox was terminated again for unknown reasons.
On November 1th, 2025, Toolbox account termination was pardoned again.

- Someone entered the account's username in a "users who watched form" which made the account receive the Next Level Blue Headphones.
- Even though Toolbox is never online, just like many other old users, the account's classic T-shirt was removed. Later in mid 2017, its skin changed with the default clothing due to the bug which many other old users have a skin change too.
- Toolbox had five forum posts, almost all of which are lost.[1]
- Some places from 2006 have uncorrupted toolbox models, such as Flayra's Place.
