Quantum Science Energy Research Facility, also known as QSERF, takes place on August 18, 1985, and is located in New Haven County, Connecticut, on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. It is the first and only functional prototype of the first generation Dark Matter Reactor, DMR01 Prototype 002.

Quantuplex is a showcase game developed my many people depicting the home of Quantum Science Inc. It requires a decent computer/device to play due to a high amount of parts.

This is Quantum's development sub-group and is a restricted group as a result. You can only join if you are invited by administrators or if you are part of the group's QA division. QDF (formerly QSO) is the security division of Quantum Science that ensures consistent operation in QS games, and even functions as a force against raiders in QS Energy Research Facility.

- Following a meltdown or warhead detonation at the Quantum Science Energy Research Facility, an emergency alert system (EAS) message is played, this EAS alerts the nearby counties of Fairfield and New Haven where the game takes place due to an incident of unknown severity. However, EAS was created in 1997 while the game takes place in 1985.
