Roblox Game Conference 2012 is a future event Roblox admins have prepared for the community. The event will be held on July 14th 2012 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Event Details
Roblox admins stated that they will not make a profit from ticket sales, and that they will only cover the costs of the event. A live web-broadcast will be set up at this event, making it possible for people to watch virtually, online. It is unknown currently where you will be able to watch the web-broadcast, or if it will be free or not to watch it. Hotel deals will also be included with buying of tickets. Tickets are expected to be on sale soon.

The ROBLOX Rally 2011 happened on August 1st, 2011 at the Exploratorium. It was the first ROBLOX Convention. The Roblox Game Conference 2012 is the next rally.
Game Conference and 'Great America' Ticket Sales
California's Great America will be selling tickets at the Roblox Game Conference 2012. Beckyquoted that "[Roblox Staff] will explore discount Great America tickets for those who wish to visit the day after the conference."
Controversies
A debate was sparked on RT discussing whether or not Roblox staff were telling the truth about the quote "they will not make a profit from ticket sales, and that they will only cover the costs of the event. Many users disagree with this quote, stating that Roblox is "money hungry" and "in it for the $".
